To give the tags a hanging, I used a skewer to pierce through the clay and and so through the foil, to ensure the hole would be make clean through the clay:
Once finished, I laid the clay tags aside to dry out for 48 hours:

The clay does dry out apartment, all the same; if you leave it to dry somewhere warm, [such as the windowsill in a higher place radiator], and your clay is fairly sparse, the ends may lift from the foil. If this volition bother y’all, check on the clay after around 12 hours to flatten whatsoever lift. The clay is silent flexible at this stage, thus although you lot should be careful, it is non yet brittle too wont snap. Once dry out, the clay lifts easily from the foil and volition have dried a make clean white colour:
